LongJohn

How it works

1. Bring your files

Import one audiobook or a whole batch from the Files app.

2. Press play

Authors, chapters, and cover art come straight from each file, so there’s nothing to set up.

3. Put your phone away

Your book keeps playing in the background. Pause or skip from the lock screen, 15 seconds back or 30 seconds forward.

4. Pick up where you stopped

LongJohn remembers your place in every book, so you can switch between them without losing it.

Before you import

• LongJohn needs an iPhone running iOS 18.2 or later.
• It plays M4B files without DRM. Books locked to another store or app won’t work.
• You can include audiobooks in your iCloud backup, or leave them out to keep backups smaller. Your listening progress is always backed up.
